This school year, Wai Kiu College has implemented a new “Life-Wide Learning Award Scheme” to encourage all students to pursue excellence in academics, behaviour, extracurricular activities, and community service and to participate in a variety of activities and services. The purpose of the program is to award students with “bonus points” for their outstanding performance or improvement in academics, conduct, extracurricular activities, service, and participation in external competitions. Students can earn bonus points for their efforts, and after amassing a certain number of bonus points, they can exchange them for a variety of prizes. It is hoped that students will be encouraged to strive for excellence in their studies and participate in a variety of activities and services so that they can actively add value to themselves in terms of moral and academic performance.
