| 活字印刷是中國古代四大發明之一，擁有過千年歷史，也曾為香港的印刷業寫下輝煌的一頁。 為讓同學更了解更多，我們於12月13日舉辦了一個活字寶印刷工作坊，導賞員同時也是上環光華印刷公司第二代店主任先生，他從事印刷行業已超過五十多年，任先生分享見證香港印刷業 的轉變及興衰史，還熱心講解活字印刷的模具及示範。 過程中，每位同也有製作了獨一無二的「活字寶記事簿」，簿上印有學校和同學的名字，這是透過多個字粒、神奇凸字粉和活字印刷術而製作，可說十分珍貴。 Movable Type Printing is one of the four great inventions of ancient China,with a history spanning over a thousand years. It has also contributed a brilliant chapter to Hong Kong's printing industry. To help students gain a deeper understanding, we held a movable type printing workshop on December 13. The tour guide, who is also the second-generation store manager of the Kwong Wah Printing Company in Sheung Wan, has been in the printing industry for over fifty years.Mr. Yan shared his experiences witnessing the rise and fall of Hong Kong's printing industry, and he enthusiastically explained the types of molds used in movable type printing and provided demonstrations. During the process, each student created a unique "Movable Type Notebook," printed with the school's and their names. This was made using various types of characters, special embossing powder, and the movable type printing technique, making it quite a precious item. |
