| 惠僑參與了由食物環境衛生署與荃灣商會、香港工商總會荃灣分會等荃灣各界協會合辦的「荃灣市集同樂日」，於5月26日至28日一連三日，學生會聯同家長教師會負責其中一個攤位活動，主要售賣盆栽植物及環保袋，帶領學生走出校園，向社區宣揚綠色環保生活的概念。透過售賣的過程，與不同人士交流，學生不但能夠運用課堂上的科學知識，向市民分享種植心得，更能增進溝通技巧、組織能力，提升自信心，實在是難能可貴的學習經驗！
The Student Association and the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) participated in the “Tsuen Wan District Weekend Bazaar”, which is co-organized by the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department and various community associations in Tsuen Wan, including Tsuen Wan Trade Association Ltd. and Tsuen Wan Branch of the Hong Kong Industrial and Commercial Association, in three consecutive days (from 26th to 28th May). We were responsible for one of the 70 booths, mainly selling succulent plants and eco-friendly bags, and let the students promote the concept of “Green Living” to the community. Through the selling process, students had to communicate with different people, they not only could apply the scientific knowledge they learned in class and share their planting experiences with the public, but also could enhance their communication skills, organizational abilities, and self-confidence. It is a valuable learning experience for students. |
