The goal of applied learning is to allow students to learn relevant knowledge and theories through real-life situations and applications, thereby cultivating their generic skills. Similar to other school subjects, applied learning courses value knowledge, skills, and attitudes.
Applied learning is an integral part of the new senior secondary curriculum. In addition to core subjects such as Chinese Language, English Language, Mathematics, and Liberal Studies, students can choose to study applied learning courses as elective subjects in the new senior secondary level based on their interests, aspirations, and abilities.
