Identifying and Supporting Students at Risk of Suicide
The theme for the first Teacher Development Day of this academic year is "Focusing on the Mental Health of Teachers and Students." In the workshop "Identifying and Supporting Students at Risk of Suicide," teachers participated in a deeper understanding of how to identify students at risk of suicide early on. This session aims to strengthen their professional knowledge and skills in identifying and supporting students with mental health needs. The second session offered teachers a workshop on "Expressive Arts Experience." Through the medium of visual arts, teachers have the opportunity to create in a comfortable and safe space. This workshop aims to explore teachers' internal feelings, enhance their self-awareness, and provide them with an initial experience of the transformative power of expressing oneself through art.
