Student Activities Support Grants

The “Student Activities Support Grants” program is funded by a donation from the Jockey Club Charities Trust to the Education Bureau to assist needy S1-S6 students in their participation in life-wide school-sponsored learning activities. The program encompasses a vast array of learning opportunities, including intellectual activities, physical education, music, arts and culture, community service, and other opportunities for holistic development.

 

Sir Edward Youde Memorial Prizes for Senior Secondary School Students

The scheme offers prizes to encourage senior secondary school students in government, aided, direct subsidy scheme, per caput grant, private and English Schools Foundation schools in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (Hong Kong) in attaining a high standard of learning abilities and developing leadership qualities.

Grantham Scholarships Fund - Grantham Maintenance Grants

The Fund has been established since 1955 and provides maintenance grants to students who are in financial need as assessed under a means test and are pursuing full-time courses at one of the following institutions:
(a)    a. Secondary 4 / Senior Secondary 1 to Secondary 6 / Senior Secondary 3 courses of the secondary day schools approved by the Education Bureau; or
(b)    b. Certain courses of the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education and Youth College under the auspice of the Vocational Training Council. Please refer to the Guidance Notes on Applications for the eligible courses and course codes.
(i) S3 or above: Certificate in Vocational Studies / Diploma in Vocational Education (DVE)
(ii) S5 or above: Diploma of Foundation Studies
